The explosions that registered the Volcán de Fuego this Sunday caused the death of at least six people and left more than 20 wounded, according to the director of the National Coordinator for the Reduction of Disasters (Conred), Sergio Cabañas.
The authorities ordered the evacuation of the villages La Rochela, El Rodeo and Los Lotes; bordering the Volcán de Fuego.
